Wolverine, running toward the viewer. Now, the inspiration came from a Bob Kane drawing of Batman running I saw some time ago. Also, there is something from an interview with a comic book artist talking about that (or a similar) illustration. He was saying that at a younger age he copied the Batman drawing as a kid, with the bent leg to simulate the action of running. He also said that everybody asked him why the character was missing a leg.

And you know what ?

Most people ask me the same.
And they actually feel like they are the first to “notice” the “mistake”.
