El Gato again, but this time in shades and a beat up look.

This is a character I play in Jay‘s 7th Sea RPG campaign. He is a former circus performer with the stage name “El Gato”, because of his agility and ability to always land on his feet. His real name is (I don’t remember why, and for some reason it must have seemed like a good idea at the time) Emilio Django Grappelli Reinhardt… Well, since the other players never remember it, I might change it and no one’ll be the wiser.

Working on Tse-Nill’s look, a character I play Mex‘s (Fr.) Marvel Super Heroes RPG campaign. His power comes from his Navajo heritage and bloodline. He can summon spirits of the old to grant him some abilities like flight, great speed and great strength. Also he can summon a tomahawk (Tse-Nill, in Navajo).

I want to give him a second World War helmet with some pilot goggles, but I haven’t got it right yet. A work in progress, I guess.

I draw faces a lot, but tend to always do the same expression. So, from time to time I try to change and practice different expressions. It also gives me the opportunity to experiment head shapes.

I was listening to some Reinhardt and Grappelli music on my way to the Jazz Festival and did those.

That’s me looking surprised and driving Stuntman Mike’s car. I was listening to the Death Proof soundtrack and I thought it would pretty funny to draw myself in the car. Now, I realize it would be funny if I could actually draw a car.
