The final product!
Most characters come from the earlier poster Prep Sketches, but some were made up on the canvas.
I painted the whole thing with white acrylic paint to make it an even tone, then made the characters with India Ink and put in a little color in with nail polish.

We can’t see much from the picture, now I realize that.
Last Prep Sketches for the canvas drawing. There seems to be more of that helmet guy and variations of him. What started as monsters and creatures was slowly going into a much more spacey/sci-fi look.
Some of these are more interesting. I like the little guy wearing the helmet. I’ve used him in the final canvas drawing and a few other times too.
Preparation sketches from the Ink Only Sketchbook for a canvas project. I wanted to work on the characters before putting them on the canvas. They would have to be done directly with india ink, without any pencils before hand, so I tried to get the reflexes right by warming up in the Ink Only Sketchbook.
It sort of worked. More would need to be done.
