warforged7372-1

This is a character (named 7372-1) I played in Jeff‘s Eberron RPG game. It is called a warforged, ans it is basically a robot in medieval fantasy setting. Apparently, they don’t have telescoping limbs, head or torso that rotate 360 degrees, double joints, metallic voices, magnetic weapon storage capacity, secret compartments, an appetite for metals or oil, a respect for the 3 robot laws and thrusters anywhere. Go figure.

There are many different versions because I have not found the look I wanted. Also I can’t draw robots. Still, I’m (kind of) satisfied with my metal effect. It was the first time I got anything remotely resembling metal.

Crunch. Ow. That’s the sound of my arm breaking while patting myself on the back.

Anyways, that game is now on the ice for an undetermined period of time. And I don’t have a definitive look for my robot. Maybe someday.

Still working shadings.

More shading on 7th Sea RPG pirates. There’s Gauthier and the curly haired one is Thomas Shaw, played by Jeff. Also, there’s a sheep somewhere in there.

I’ve been asked why do I do marker shadings instead of ink washes. Well, I use the markers as practice for the washes. I’m trying to understand how to shade the drawings, which isn’t something that comes naturally to me. And markers are easier to use than ink, a lot easier.
