THE ENTERTAINER

Marker shading.
The Stuntman, part V.

Here the Stuntman is trying to fly with some winged suit.
I ripped it off from an old Road Runner cartoon where Willie E. Coyote tried to catch it with a flying suit. Unsuccessfully, of course.
Sorry the pencil work isn’t darker.
MOTIVATING

The Stuntman, part IV.

More of the Stuntman getting hurt while being burned and catapulted.
PUTTIN’ ON THE RITZ

The Stuntman, part III

Some more of the Stuntman getting hurt. Sorry about the pencil being so light colored. I was (for some weird reason) using a 2H (or #4) pencil when doing this. It is the pencil used by real comic artist, but not my favorite.
In this comic, the Stuntman drives a car (with a dummy riding shotgun) into a rock and lands on his face.
Now, why am I explaining this ? It’s supposed to be pantomime ! It’s the point not to have any words !
…
Oh no. I am yelling at myself. I’ll just stop now.
The Stuntman, part II.

Some examples of pantomime comics with the stuntman character.
Not a finished product, mind you.
Here he is on fire and falling to the ground.
The actions are only excuses to see how I could play with the movement of the character. Being wordless means the comic has to be dynamic and expressive, making it possible for some storytelling without any text.
Also, I have a lot of trouble drawing movement and figured I could use the exercise.
